Mic Celebrity Records Unveiled In The New Guinness World Records

New World Records Announced Today For Justin Bieber, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Rihanna, Adam Sandler And French Film The Artist

Guinness World Records, the global authority on record-breaking achievement, today reveals that a host of the world's biggest celebrities have scored a place in the record books and appear in the 57th edition of the Guinness World Records 2013 book out next 13th of September worldwide.

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has become the First ever solo artist to have three No.1 US and UK albums before age of 18, with My World 2.0 (10 April 2010), Never Say Never: The Remixes (5 March 2011) and Under the Mistletoe (19 November 2011) - no other artist has come close with their album successes: only Donny Osmond can compete as the First ever solo artist to have three No.1 singles in the UK charts before age of 18.

Blue Ivy Carter - daughter of Jay-Z and Beyoncé - becomes the Youngest chart entrant at just two days old, when "Glory", featuring her breathing, cries and coos, debuted on the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart on 7 January 2012. Young Ms. Carter inherits the title from Stevie Wonder's daughter Aisha who featured, albeit uncredited, on his 1977 hit "Isn't She Lovely" but did not appear on the Billboard chart until two years after her birth.

Whitney Houston established a new record for the Most simultaneous hits on UK singles chart by a solo female with 12 new entries on the UK chart following her death on 11 February 2012. This record had previously been held by Amy Winehouse who achieved 8 simultaneously chart entries following her death in 23 July 2011. However, Whitney did not eclipse the achievement of Michael Jackson who posthumously achieved 28 hits on the UK singles chart following his death in June 2009.

Leonard Cohen scored an iconic achievement with the Longest gap between Top 10 UK albums when his 12th album, Old Ideas, debuted at No.2 on 11th February 2012 - 40 years, 8 months and 2 weeks after his previous Top 10 album, Songs of Love and Hate. With his return to the UK Album chart, Canadian septuagenarian takes the title from Louis Armstrong, whose gap in appearances in the UK Top 10 had stretched 38 years 5 months.

Other standout musical records gracing the pages of the 2013 edition include:

- Madonna, who scored the Biggest TV audience for Super Bowl half-time show when 114 million people watched her performance with M.I.A and Nicki Minaj on 5 February 2012

- Rihanna has become the Best-selling digital artist (US), selling an incredible 47.57 million digital tracks in the US during her career. The 24-year-old singer beat The Black Eyed Peas (42.4 million career digital sales), Eminem (42.29 million), Lady Gaga (42.08 million) and Taylor Swift (41.82 million).

- Adele scooped a host of new records as she became the First female artists, the First UK artist and the Fastest artist to reach digital sales of one million in the US. On the big screen, the brightest movie star of the last year is The Artist which has become the Highest grossing silent movie in history taking the record, which has stood for more than 87 years, from the 1925 silent film The Big Parade directed by King Vidor. The Artist took more than $133 million at the box office - six times what The Big Parade amassed over its entire box office reign. The Artist also made Oscar history as it became the First film from a non-English speaking country to win Best Picture since The Academy Awards were first presented in 1929.

One award winner likely to be less pleased with his record-breaking status is Adam Sandler, who has set the record for Most Razzie Award nominations in a single year with 11 nominations in the 2012 Golden Raspberry Awards. Sandler is also the First actor to win in every category at Razzie awards when he took the title in every category for which nominated the 2012 Razzies.

Other box office record breakers in 2013 edition include:

-Highest grossing comedy ever is The Hangover: Part II, taking more than £354 million at box office, and storming past the previous record holder, 2004's Meet the Fockers, whose box office sales totalled £270 million
