On Tuesday 23rd August from 5pm, Yourells Hair Salon on Eyre Street will be transformed into a child- friendly zone, as Yourells host a kids evening all in aid of Crumlin Children’s Hospital where a hair styling for the salon’s younger clientele will be made priority.

Kids under 10 years old are welcome from 5pm onwards to enjoy two hours of face painting, a fun hair-themed art corner, goodies and juice and most importantly each child will receive a haircut/style or blowdry absolutely free of charge! As this is a charity event, all donations are most welcome for this fantastic cause. If you would like to attend, RSVP to info@yourells.com or pop in on the night – no appointment is necessary.

Not forgetting that the lead up to back to school can be a stressful time for parents also – not to mention a costly one – for the month of September, Yourells has teamed up with Barnardos to offer a 20% discount to all mum’s who visit the salon. This fantastic offer is available from 9am – 1pm every weekday from September 1st and to avail of this discount, Yourells ask that Mums bring in their children’s old clothes for donation to Barnardos when they are coming in for their appointment. Carol Joyce, co- owner of Yourells, tells “September is a hectic month for parents and kids alike, however it is important to remember that not all children in Ireland are lucky enough to experience all the goings -on and excitement of ‘back to school’ time- as a result of illness or other factors. We at Yourells wanted to create a bit of awareness of the wonderful work carried out by both the staff at Crumlin Hospital and Barnardos alike. Their constant striving toward creating a brighter future for the children of Ireland is unbelievable and we would like to do our part to help”.
