Terre a Terre Celebrates

Terre à Terre

As Brighton Festival 2013 enjoys its final weekend Terre à Terre, Brighton’s celebrated Vegetarian Restaurant considers the unique lunch they hosted for Guest Director Michael Rosen alongside patrons of the festival and the artistic team earlier in the Month.

The sun came out on Sunday the 12th of May to ensure that all invited guests; patrons, artistic team and festival organisers could enjoy a joyful, relaxed ‘Bear Hunt & Chocolate Cake ’ themed grown up lunch with Guest Director Michael Rosen. A sunny event where they could meet and greet each other and share experiences and expectations of the festivals fun filled programme.

Guests enjoyed a grown up picnic Terre à Terre style featuring Alphabet Spaghetti Tomato Consommé. Chantilly Face – savoury blue cheese and beetroot Chantilly topped tarts. Carry On Curdy – lemony castle cakes served with fromage blanc and green olive sherbet, Double Trouble Truffled and lots more. This perfect mix of food and art truly represents the Best of Brighton.

Terre à Terre has been a proud supporter of the Brighton Festival for the last three years and celebrates this opportunity to support the arts and this Iconic Brighton Festival.

‘At Brighton Festival we are proud of our partnership with Terre à Terre, whose commitment to creativity and quality aligns with our own. Terre àTerre generously host our wonderful Guest Director reception each Festival – a real highlight in our Patrons’ diary! This year our Guest Director, Michael Rosen, thoroughly enjoyed the reception with wonderful food, stimulating company and gracious service. The whimsical menu, in the theme of ‘A grown up’s tea party’ added that extra magical Terre a Terre touch’. Barbara Macpherson- Brighton Festival
