Six decades later, nearly eight hundred million passengers are carried by jet airliners across Europe every year*(Eurostat, Passenger Transport Statistics Explained, Sept 2011) with the aircraft manufacturer Boeing forecasting the need for 448,000 new airline pilots to enter the industry over the next twenty years worldwide**(FlightGlobal.com, \u201cFuture Pilot Supply For the Airlines\u201d, Sept 2010).<\/p>\n<p>With these future opportunities in mind, the Professional Flight Training Exhibition will help prospective pilots understand the requirements, prospects and costs of becoming a fully trained commercial pilot.&nbsp; \u201cThe aim of the exhibition is to educate and advise visitors on what is required to become a pilot\u201d, says Darran Ward, Exhibition Manager, \u201cand it is the perfect opportunity for visitors to speak to the airlines, world leading training providers and experts in one venue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is supported by industry leaders Aer Lingus, the publication \u2018Flying in Ireland\u2019,the UK publication \u2018Flyer\u2019 and Simtech Aviation Training Ltd.,&nbsp; a company based in Swords, Co.
