London, 15th June 2021: Today marks a pivotal moment in the history of one of London’s most iconic buildings as sales of The OWO Residences by Raffles, Europe’s first Raffles branded residences, are launched. Offering a rare opportunity to purchase a piece of Winston Churchill’s legacy, 85 homes are available in the impressive Grade II* listed former Old War Office building, which has been closed to the public for over a century. Having undergone a monumental and painstaking transformation over the last five years, the London landmark is set to complete in 2022 and will also comprise the capital’s first Raffles hotel with 125-rooms and suites, a collection of nine restaurants and bars, and an immersive spa. Hedges, Plant a Nature Screen

Gardeners should consider swapping walls and fences for hedges, says the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), as new research shows how they provide a range of frontline environmental services. The call forms part of the charity’s Greening Great Britain campaign which urges the public to turn urban concrete corners into thriving green spaces. Hedges, Plant a Nature Screen Analysis by the charity of 44 of the most popular hedges, found that as well as mitigating flooding, capturing pollutants and acting as a sound barrier they can also be used to help heat and cool the home.
