Paul Williams Events, the company noted for staging a diverse array of high-profile events in Wales, is supporting Size of Wales\u2019 celebratory event on March 21 by sponsoring the technical aspect of the event.<\/p>\n

Size of Wales, which was launched in 2010 at a climate change event hosted by HRH the Prince of Wales, is a charity committed to helping to protect an equivalent area of tropical forest in African and Latin America,  and is the first operation of its kind.<\/p>\n

The charity has now reached its fund-raising target of \u00a32m, and has therefore helped protect a tropical forest the size of Wales.<\/p>\n

The Size of Wales celebration – Champagne, Canap\u00e9s and Comedy – which takes at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff, provides an opportunity for the charity to thank its supporters and to highlight its future objectives.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been involved with Size of Wales from the outset,  and have organised a number of fund-raising events such as Rainforests and Rugby. I think it is an admirable project, as deforestation is causing major problems throughout the world, and is a clear contributor to the problem of climate change,\u201d says Mr Williams.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy expertise in staging events will help the Size of Wales celebration go off with a bang, providing supporters with a feel-good factor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul Williams Events has been the creative force behind the SWALEC Stadium Christmas parties for the last 5 years, as well as the now legendary awards dinners for the Principality Building Society, the last of which was held on stage at the Wales Millennium Centre in January.<\/p>\n
