What is a saving?

When demonstrating or showing off the Hotelzon booking tool, I’m often asked “does it show savings?” This is normally followed with the same response each time from me “what do you mean?"

Not because I didn’t understand the question, but because there are multiple interpretations on what is classed or used as a saving. Ultimately the answer is yes – we not only make you savings but we show them to you as well in our booking system.

How big is your hotel inventory?

Over the last couple of years most of the hotel distribution systems/suppliers have made a point in boasting about how many hotels they have within their databases and point of sale booking tools. And I have to admit, Hotelzon is one of them! – By the way we have 140,000 hotels.

But what does it all mean? Why would one company boast about having a global hotel inventory as low as 35,000 hotels (or even 140,000 hotels!!) when there are companies saying that they have over 200,000.
