Turbulent year 2012 is coming to an end. It has been somewhat challenging for business as well as for business travel. Although major changes haven’t materialized yet, “uncertainty” is a good word to describe current climate. Certain trends are common in travel industry in these kind of situations. One is that it becomes very difficult to forecast ahead. Lead-times between booking and staying are getting shorter and volumes tend to go up and down. According to the trends in a past, this is always a situation before market starts either declining or growing.
