Although major changes haven’t materialized yet, “uncertainty” is a good word to describe current climate. Certain trends are common in travel industry in these kind of situations. One is that it becomes very difficult to forecast ahead. Lead-times between booking and staying are getting shorter and volumes tend to go up and down. According to the trends in a past, this is always a situation before market starts either declining or growing.
Season ending
Once again, the year has passed with such speed that it is hard to believe that we are heading towards the Christmas festivities. 2011 has been full of changes and new beginnings, both professionally and personally.
